Project Description
The amount of people choosing cremation has been growing at an increasing pace each year. Along with the growth in cremation, people also continue to look for a greater variety of burial options than have traditionally been offered in most cemeteries.
Mekus Tanager developed a master plan for Willow Lawn Memorial Park in coordination with StoneMor Partners L.P. and Pinnacle Nationwide LLC with the primary goals of expanding both full-body and cremation burial options, while still preserving the natural beauty of the forested southern portion of the cemetery.
The master plan developed creates a naturalistic and intimate setting through winding forested pathways and the use of a water feature. To add to the burial options and inventory, the master plan includes: additions to existing ground burial sections, semi-private estates, natural burial selections, cremation estates, and cremation features along forested pathways.
According to the ownership, the burial plots in the new section were selling rapidly!
