Project Description
The Department of Education’s mission is to promote higher education, student achievement and preparation for global competitiveness by fostering educational excellence and ensuring equal access to teachers, facilities and information. Mekus Tanager designed the regional headquarters to advance the mission of the department by creating a collaborative, highly-functional office.
The space is approximately 74,000 square feet on two floors. High security measures are in place throughout the space, including monitored doors and controlled access to all spaces. The space features a large multi-purpose meeting and training room with sophisticated A/V capabilities, custom millwork reception areas and a video teleconferencing room.
