Glencoe Japanese-Esque Home and Garden Transformation

Project Description
For this project, Mekus Tanager assisted the homeowner with the expansion and renovation of an existing residence from a barn-style home to a modern home incorporating traditional Japanese architectural elements. Included in this was the design of a new garage and entryway, new roofing, and new outdoor decks with roof overhangs, as well as new landscaping to create a Japanese-esque garden. To showcase the garden from the interior, wide window expanses were added to heighten the sense of transparency between the indoors and outdoors.
