Mekus Tanager worked with Motorola Mobility to develop a Workplace Standards & Guidelines to provide a consistent approach to the design and delivery of Motorola Mobility’s workplaces globally. The “typical” workplace was designed to create a workplace that fosters innovation, encourages collaboration, creates positive morale, and promotes Motorola Mobility’s culture.

 

Portions of the Workplace Standards & Guidelines included:

• Workplace design strategies.
• Worker profiles and typical space allocations.
• Sample floor plates to highlight adjacencies and general design guidelines.
• Design typicals for offices, workstations, conference rooms, collaboration areas, video-conferencing rooms, support spaces, etc.
• Standardized specifications for furniture, office equipment, etc.
• Standardized specifications for fabric types, paint colors, materials, etc.
