As architects and interior designers, we typically find that the best home improvement that a homeowner can invest in to add value to their home really depends both on the intentions and desires of the homeowner, the condition of the house, and also the market that the house is in (if selling is the intention).

We're proud to announce that our project for Holy Sepulcher Cemetery in Orange, California has broken ground!  The project includes a 1,100 ft long section of wall crypts, niches, and family estates, tiered into the side of a hill at the cemetery.

After little success in selling their home, the owners and Mekus Tanager undertook a project to update and renovate this French country style home so that it would compete in a luxury home market, where the competing houses are typically spec-built or built-to-suit luxury homes. With a set budget in mind, the design solutions implemented sought to maximize the ROI for the owners while enticing prospective buyers to vision the house as their future home.
