Project Description

Mekus Tanager assisted Resurrection Cemetery in the renovation and restoration of their historic administration building.  During the renovation, the team discovered a number of original features concealed within the building, including a magnificent Tiffany stained glass skylight.  Hidden by a ceiling, Mekus tanager removed the ceiling to showcase the treasure and make it a focal point of the building.  Another hidden treasure was a decorative terra-cotta fountain, which was relocated to the front lobby under the Tiffany stained glass.

The project also involved various improvements to the 80-year old building's accessibility, environmental control systems, mechanical/electrical systems, as well as window replacement and exterior improvements.
