Project Description

Mekus Tanager assisted The Village Presbyterian Church  with the development of a master plan to help guide future renovation and expansion efforts.  A primary consideration was the improvement of vehicular and pedestrian routes from the parking and drop-off areas as well as within the church and education wing.

Additionally, Mekus Tanager conducted a study of dedicated space for youth and christian education groups, the music ministry, and the administrative group, as well as an improved and enlarged library for the church.

After the master plan was completed, the church implemented Phase 1 of the master plan, which included improved pedestrian circulation, a new expansion that includes classroom space, a choir practice room, new access to the garden, and a burial garden with columbarium wall units.  Mekus Tanager was responsible for the architecture, planning, interior design, and material selection for the project.
